SNAPS have exclusive hire of Clip 'n Climb Leeds on Sunday 28th July 2019 4pm - 7pm

**THIS EVENT IS FOR ANY FAMILY WHO ATTENDS TERM TIME SNAPS SESSIONS (Penny Field, Broomfield or Football)**

This is a chance for everyone in the family to take part in indoor climbing.  They have a variety of hoists that will allow children with physical disabilities to be able to climb and achieve their own goals.  A parent or carer will need to be with their children to help them climb the walls and there is space for siblings and parents and carers to climb alongside their children.

After the climbing session a buffet tea will be served.  Additional family members are all welcome for the tea but must book a place so we can ensure we have suitable catering in place.

Spaces are limited to 25 children and 15 adult climbers (additional spaces are available for the buffet tea!) so book your ticket today to reserve your place.  Please note you must buy tickets for all climbers (including adults) and those wanting to eat afterwards.  Adults do not need to climb with their child, they can just assist their child from the bottom of the walls.  Please choose the relevant type of tickets when booking onto the event.

SNAPS staff will be present to offer additional support, but a parent or carer must stay with your child and is responsible for the child at all times.

Notes from Clip 'n Climb

Suitable from age 4 with a minimum weight limit of 12kg and a maximum weight of 22st.

Assisted SEND Climbing

We have the latest specifically approved SEND friendly Assist Hoist System which is used in conjunction with The Adventure harness. This is a full body harness that has been specifically designed to cater for a wide age and size variance.

Fully Assisted SEND Climbing

We also have a Chute Harness for those climbers who require fully assisted climbing, they are suspended in the harness and neck support (if required) via the Assist Hoist System. This is where you the parent/carer get involved and join in the experience. You will be shown how to use the Assist Hoist System and together you will help the climber achieve their goals.

We also have a mobile hoist for assisting with fitting the harness to anyone wheelchair bound. This hoist may also be used in our disabled WC where we have a rise and fall change table.

Here at Clip ‘n Climb Leeds we will endeavour to get anyone climbing, however there may be limitations we can’t overcome.

Fully Assisted/Assisted SEND climbers WILL require a carer or parent to accompany in the climbing arena.
