SNAPS' Yorkshire Sculpture Park Session

SNAPS are hosting a Hidden Forest Experience at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park on Thursday 8th August 11am-3pm.

**THIS EVENT IS FOR ANY FAMILY WHO ATTENDS TERM TIME SNAPS SESSIONS (Penny Field, Broomfield or Football)*

This summer activity for SNAPS families will be a chance for children with additional needs and their siblings to take part in accessible activities at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. There will be 2 artists leading interactive sessions that are suitable for all.

Families are invited to join us for a sensory experience in the beautiful surroundings of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Why not bring a picnic and enjoy a full family day out with your SNAPS friends over the Summer Holidays.

SNAPS has exclusive access to the Hidden Forest (an enclosed area) where two artists will lead families in interactive activities that everyone can take part in. There will be opportunities to build sculptures, get messy, explore different textures and create your own masterpieces. Families are asked to arrive at 11am, but after this point the day will be free flow so that you can take part in scheduled activities, enjoy your own walk through the park or picnic together in an area exclusively for SNAPS families. We have the space until 3pm but you can leave earlier or continue to enjoy the grounds after the SNAPS session has come to an end.

The Hidden Forest, Café and toilets are next to the main car park at the above address. The site has a changing places toilet and the Hidden Forest and some of the park walks are accessible for wheelchair users. If you have any concerns please contact lucyanne@snapsyorkshire.org

Places are limited to 45 (including adults) so book early to ensure you get a place!

This is a great opportunity to have a family day out and meet up with your SNAPS friends over the school holidays.

SNAPS staff will be present to offer additional support, but a parent or carer must stay with your child and is responsible for the child at all times.
